Hugh Laurie

Dr. House is a t.v series released in 2003 by Fox. The series was created by David Shore, who also is the executive producer. The main character is Dr. Gregory House, interpreted by Hugh Laurie. Gregory House is a cold hearted and mean, yet a genius doctor head of the diagnostics team in Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital of New Jersey.
The thematic idea of the series was created by Paul Attanasio, based on the column written by Dr. Lisa Sanders in The New York Times.
The creation of the cast of the series was created by David Shore after he visited a university hospital. The location of the film is in Century City, a district in Los Angeles, California.
For this art project, the verbal portrait, we had to choose anyone in the whole wide world to make a portrait. But this was not just any portrait, it had to be a portrait done in letters.  After hearing about the project, I could only think about one person to make my portrait, Dr. House. To make the portrait I first drew his face in pencil and then detailed it with pen, but with letters. The written things that compose his face, the quote beside it and the logo are his most famous quotes. I decided to include a big quote beside his face because what characterizes Dr. House is his insensibility and his intelligence, and that quote described him just perfectly. I decided to do Dr. House in this project because (as you can see) Dr. House is my favorite t.v show, and I admire him as a doctor and as an actor. It was very hard to create this portrait out of letters because the size of the letters was very important as well as what was written with them and their shape in order to make the portrait as realistic as possible.
