From music to art
All throughout my life one very important influence has been my brother. He influences me in the way I talk, dress, think, what I like etc. One of the most noticeable influences is the music I listen to. My friends hate my music, since I was raised in an environment full of rock and cool bands. One of this bands is Kings of Leon.
Kings of Leon is one of my favorite groups not only because of their spectacular songs, but because of the personal meaning to their songs. At my brother´s graduation, Mauricio Samaniego and his band played the song "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon. Not only did they rock in the presentation, but every time I listen to Kings of Leon I enjoy their music and remember my brother´s amazing graduation.
This drawing was a sketch done in my free time of one of their most famous albums, "Aha Shake Heartbreak" released May 15, 2005. It contains my personal favorites like King of the Rodeo, Sex on Fire, Bucket, among others.
My inspiration for this sketch was my admiration for this music group, how I enjoy listening to their music and old personal attachment to this group. I made this sketch on pencil and made it look as similar as to the real cover of the album I could. I guess I did a pretty good job.
